The property

1 Rock Cottages is located in the picturesque village of Treknow, less than a mile from the beach at Trebarwith Strand on the North Cornish coast.
 

It’s the perfect place for those looking to enjoy time by the beach, just moments away from a stunning stretch of golden sand, whilst featuring a homely interior with all the essentials, perfect for a family getaway.

Access to the cottage by car is restricted due to the narrow width of the lane.
 

The cottage has a parking space in the Farmer’s yard 3 minutes walk away.

To drive directly to the Parking Space, follow the instructions  to the village, and when you turn right in front of the house called ‘Puffins’ carry on up a small lane and the farmers yard is the first entrance on the left. Please park anywhere in the yard and close the gate when you leave.

Downstairs the slate floored hallway opens into the Study/Games room, with storage for coats and shoes, where you can escape for a quiet evening with a good book or a competitive games night. Also leading from the hallway is the cosy sitting room, where you can unwind with the smart TV for entertainment in front of the woodburning stove.
 

The sitting room leads into the  well-equipped kitchen/diner, also complete with a woodburning stove for additional warmth. 

The enclosed garden features a dramatic rock backdrop (from which Rock Cottages gets its name) and enjoys elevated views across Cornwall. There is garden furniture to relax on, and you’ll also find some secure storage in the large garden shed garden, perfect for keeping your walking gear/bikes or sporting equipment. You will also find body boards for those heading for the surf to borrow!
 

Upstairs are three bedrooms, including one double, a Super King zip link (can be twin beds on request) and a single, perfect for families, friends or couples, along with the convenience of both a spacious bathroom and a shower room.

Step outside 1 Rock Cottages and follow the path through fields down to Trebarwith Strand, 10 mins walk with a sandy beach, a stunning location that welcomes dogs all day, all year-round, before dining out at the nautical-themed Port William pub and restaurant, enveloped by stunning sea views.
 

Set off on a journey to the nearby town of Tintagel (20 minute walk) or 1.2 miles, where you can explore the ruins of its magnificent castle, with stunning views of the sea and the wild Cornish countryside, from Merlin's Cave and Tintagel Bridge View.

Explore the dramatic coastline, with the South West Coastal path a few minutes walk away and many other local walks to be discovered, or take a day trip to Wadebridge, where you can take a stroll along the Camel Trail, a disused railway line now reclaimed for walkers and cyclists to enjoy. Port Isaac, Boscastle, Bude, and Padstow are all easily accessible by car, and there are plenty of beaches to discover en route.
